Throne of Glass Original Painting
Original hand-painted illustration inspired by the Throne of Glass series. This unique folding panel includes two paintings - on the outside, you’ll find Aelin looking out over the Glass Palace in Rifthold, from the beginning of the first book, and on the inside, you’ll see the city of Orynth in Terrasen, along with the iconic white stag and Rowan flying in the sky. The illustration is bright and colorful, inspired by descriptions of Aelin.
Painted with acrylic gouache on a birch panel.
Finished with satin varnish for a gentle glow, this piece measures approximately 9x12x1” when closed and 18×12×0.5” when open.
The painting has a keyhole cutout in the back so it can be hung on the wall using a nail. Please note, when hanging on a wall, the folding pieces may not sit completely closed, but instead hang slightly apart, inviting the viewer to open the panel and discover the second painting. It can also be displayed standing up on a shelf, and would make a delightful addition to a bookshelf or reading nook.
