Whether you’re preserving a treasured memory or dreaming of faraway places, I’d love to chat about creating a piece of custom art for you.

Please include as much detail as possible regarding size and subject matter, but if you’re not totally sure what you’d like, I’d be delighted to chat with you and help figure out what would work best!

There’s lots of info below about the process and various options, and I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have to help decide on the best fit for your needs and budget.

What’s the process?
First, we’ll chat about the ideal size, layout, and type of art you’re dreaming of. Then, I’ll send you a series of sketches (usually 1-2) as we fine tune the design and, once we both love the design, I’ll get started on the painting!

Payment
For commissions under $1,000, payment in full is required upfront once we’ve settled on a sketch, and for paintings over $1,000, a 50% deposit is required before painting begins, with the remainder due upon completion.

  • Single Layer Paintings

    Traditional, single layer paintings are available in a range of sizes between 3x3” and 40x60,” and generally take 3-5 weeks to complete. These can be painted on wood panels or paper, with a variety of sizes and shapes we can choose from.

    I occasionally take commissions for custom shelves illustrations, and the cost varies depending on the complexity and size of the illustration. The turnaround time for these paintings is approximately 1-4 months depending on the design.

    5x7” single “mini shelf” paintings start at $500

    Full size, three shelf paintings start at $2,200

  • Dioramas

    Each diorama is carefully assembled in a hand-stained wood box, and a hanging bracket can be attached to the back upon request. Dioramas generally take 3-5 weeks to complete.

    6x6 - $550
